Rise Consulting was established in 2008 to assist companies and their employees in the areas of safety management, credit management, accounts receivable control and human resources. Robert "Bob" Rise has 33 years of experience in diverse industries, such as; seafood processing, carpeting and applicance / television wholesale, and plastics manufacturing producing products for the construction and packaging industries.
SAFETY MANAGEMENT - Bob has been involved in the safety management field since 1985, developing and writing safety manuals, providing training materials, and monitoring implemnetation at manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. Bob was the driving force behind three plastics manufacturing facilities improving their safety management processes to a level that resulted in achievement of VPP Star status. Bob's relationships and us of insurance company and broker loss control representatives, as well as, representatives from several state and federal agencies were critical in supplementing the often limited resources of a company's risk management efforts. Behavioral changes through proactive safety audits, increased accountability and positive feedback were guiding principles.
CREDIT MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNT RECEIVABLE CONTROL - Bob has been involved in this field since 1975. Bob developed and wrote credit manuals and provided collection policies and procedures that were important in keeping accounts receivables in top shape. Keeping bad debt very low, maintaining customer goodwill and making profitable sales was Bobs motto.
HUMAN RESOURCES - Bob has been involved in personnel and human resources since 1983. Bob has been involved in all aspects of the HR field. He has developed and written and maintained employee handbooks (salaried and hourly). Bob has been especially driven to provide the best for the employee and treat them with dignity and respect.
Rise Consulting goal is to assist / mentor a company or its staff to perform their jobs better by utilizing Bobs skills and expertise.
